What happens after the consultation

The consultation will close on Monday 1 September 2025. At the end of this consultation period the council will review all comments received and feedback on issues raised.

The feedback will then be considered and reflected in the final proposals which will be submitted to the council's Cabinet in Autumn 2025 to decide if the Selective Licensing will go ahead for the proposed areas.

If it does go ahead, it will not be in place until spring 2026.
